About

Krueger Architecture has been established in the Vail Valley since 2008. I am a sole proprietor, and take pride in being involved in all aspects of a project. I enjoy getting to know people, understanding what makes them happy, and designing to that end.

I earned my BA in Japan Studies with a minor in Journalism at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN in 1991. I then went on to receive my Master's degree in Architecture from the University of New Mexico in 1997. I became a licensed architect in 2000.

My work is influenced by my early life in Los Angeles- both the traditional Greene and Greene architecture and the contemporary, unfettered architecture, as well as the 60s modern glass house in which I was raised.

Stints in Japan and New Mexico gave me a love for the vernacular that suits the climate and place, and which has been in use for centuries. A respect for understanding site, weather patterns and climate have remained with me.
